NASA – A Human Adventure

The Queensland Museum’s senior creative producer and graphic design department invited Flash Graphics to work with them on their NASA exhibition.
The scope of work made Tuffline fabric frames the obvious choice.
Lightbox Depot a division of Flash Graphics produced a number of large Tuffline fabric frames with wall mounted elements almost nine meters wide by three meters tall. Lightbox Depot built and installed a six by three-meter Tuffline double-sided fabric frame that was also suspended from the ceiling adjoining the main entrance.
Many other graphic elements were also produced by Flash, including 100 square meters of high-quality images produced on self-adhesive vinyl.162 digitally printed 3mm PVC panels of various size. Graphic treatments to the lift and entrance areas. Large scale vinyl cut sections. Easy Wall wallpaper graphics applied to stair risers.

Other graphic implementations included; posters, didactic & directional items and a large scale ‘Selfy’ opportunity, as seen in the photo below. This is one of the largest exhibitions in Queensland’s and we were excited to get the opportunity to do the work with the Queensland Museum.

Take your brand for a spin

Take your brand for a spin

Pillars of opportunity.

We originally developed a column graphic solution for BigW to dress pillars as LightBoxes, turning them into signage opportunities. Then we took it one step further developing a POS display as a 360 degree spinning LED fabric lightbox.

Most people understand that lightboxes help cut through “noisy” retail the environment.
We have added a new dimension to telling a story, delivering a message, the new Lightbox 4S, 4 sides, 4 stories.

It was a challenging brief as these light boxes have been installed in front of doorways that needed to be accessible behind. We came up with the solution of having a removable panel on the bottom edge of the frame, now the doors can still be accessed periodically as required.
The LED Edgelit Lightboxes are 1700mw x 3750mmh in size and built into the wall.
Graphics were created for the current artist in residence, the renowned Wendy Sharpe.

A challenging project for AMG! Mercedes Benz, Sydney airport.

Flash Graphics were commissioned to use Black Tuffline LED Lightbox fabric frames. Custom angles and corners on two frames one spanning over two walls with a 98 degree angle. The other with a point on one side of 52 degrees meaning we had to custom fit the lights in this whole section keeping the same clarity as the rest of the box. The end result was perfect custom made LED backlit lightboxes along with drum tight fitting graphics with no sag or puckering around the edges.
“A fantastic result”
