Award-winning artist Wendy Sharpe is set
to record the $15 million transformations of the State Library of NSW’s historic Mitchell Building.

Lightbox Depot was commissioned to produce custom light boxes for the new exhibition space at the library to display
the artworks.

It was a challenging brief as these light boxes have been installed in front of doorways that needed to be accessible behind. We came up with the solution of having a removable panel on the bottom edge of the frame, now the doors can still be accessed periodically as required.
The LED Edgelit Lightboxes are 1700mw x 3750mmh in size and built into the wall.
Graphics were created for the current artist in residence, the renowned Wendy Sharpe.
